Santa Fe Railroad

Here is a nice picture showing turn of a century Santa Fe freight train heading through the Central Valley of California heading north to Fresno.

Enjoy this scene showing Santa Fe Pacific No. 49 and its train as it heads across Rogers Dry Lake bed toward Mojave.

Looks like the Chief has stopped to allow a passing freight to go through.

I made this picture after seeing pictures of the Santa Fe No. 3415. It looked great, so I made this picture.

Here is a Santa Fe Zebra striped locomotive. Also in this awesome picture is a freight Fb unit being used as assistance on the freight train that they are hauling to San Diego along the Southern California coast.

Here is a depiction of the famed F unit 347C and B hauling the Super C in a snowy scene in the Mojave Desert. Now while the YellowBonnet may not be the most attractive livery on an ATSF F unit, I picked this look just for variety.

I hope you guys like this awesome image of Sacramento’s ATSF No. 9820 as it travels through the desert after leaving the city of Mojave.

This was made after learning about the ATSF mainline that runs near Rogers Dry Lake Bed.
